Rates rise by calendar phase. Child fare applies ages 4–12. What you pay at booking is locked; later phases do not change an already paid seat.

Southern Spain is the only mainland-Europe seat for the 2 August 2027 total solar eclipse. That single fact, plus a morning totality (~10:45 CEST) over the Strait of Gibraltar, is pushing international demand onto a small, licence-capped number of boats.

Why supply cannot grow

Unlike a beach, where crowds can keep arriving, commercial charter fleets cannot add passengers beyond licensed capacity. Typical shared boats in this fleet are 34–50 ft, carrying groups of 6, 8 or 10 guests. Once those seats and the private-charter slots are gone, there is no extra maritime inventory to open.

That fixed supply meets demand from a single morning, from a single 100-km-wide shadow, in the only stretch of mainland Europe it touches.

Rates rise by calendar phase. Booking during a phase locks that rate: later increases do not apply retroactively. 30 April 2027 remains the cancellation deadline (not the end of sales).

How do the three price phases work?
Early Bird (495 € adult / 280 € child 4–12) runs until 10 January 2027. Mid season (695 € / 300 €) runs from 11 January to 30 March 2027. Standard (850 € / 350 €) applies from 1 April 2027. What you pay at booking is locked; later phases do not change an already paid seat.
When does the Early Bird price end?
On 10 January 2027. From 11 January the Mid rate applies until 30 March 2027; from 1 April 2027 the Standard rate applies. Capacity is still finite, so seats can sell out independently of the price phase. 30 April 2027 is the cancellation deadline, not the end of sales.
Why can't the fleet just add more seats?
Commercial charter capacity is capped by licence and maritime safety rules. Unlike a beach, where people can keep arriving, a boat carries a fixed number of guests. Once the seats and private-charter slots are taken, there is no extra maritime inventory.
